We are always on the hunt for the next passionate and dedicated Carers - or as we like to call them with Feros - Community Support Workers, to help our clients in our ever-growing teams across the following areas:
Wide Bay Region - which covers Hervey Bay to Maryborough and up to Bundaberg QLD too.
The Roles on Offer:
Community Support Worker Level 1 - We don't require a Certificate in Care for this role but you will be required to do the following tasks such as:
- Supporting clients with household tasks - Cleaning (Spring cleaning or general tidy of homes) Meal Prep and Social Access -Transportation to and from appointments.
- Providing companionship and social support
- Assisting with mobility and transportation
- Monitoring clients' health and well-being
- Ensuring clients' safety and comfort at all times
Community Support Worker - Level 2 - Are ALL required to hold a Cert III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability or Higher and you will responsible for:
- Personal Care Hygiene/Showering/Toileting and Medication Assistance as well as:-
- Supporting clients with household tasks - Cleaning (Spring cleaning or general tidy of homes) Meal Prep and Social Access -Transportation to and from appointments.
- Providing companionship and social support
- Assisting with mobility and transportation
- Monitoring clients' health and well-being
- Ensuring clients' safety and comfort at all times
Salary and Benefits of Both Positions:
- Salary Range Community Support Worker Level 1: $30.70 p/hour + 11% superannuation.
- Salary Range Community Support Worker Level 2: $31.27 p/hour + 11% superannuation.
- Tax-Free Benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a. + Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax).
- Travel Reimbursement: 96c per km.
- Equipment: Smartphone and specific tools provided.
- Support: Full rostering and administrative support for appointment management.

About You:
- Are enthusiastic about working with the elderly - you enjoy listening to their stories and want to be part of their journey.
- CSWL2's - Must be qualified at Level 2 - holding a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Disability, along with the transcript of completed modules.
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or are willing to obtain one).
- Have a current Australian driver's license and own a registered and insured vehicle.
- Are comfortable with travel times of up to 45 minutes to an hour to reach our clients.
- Are open to working a flexible permanent part-time roster with varying start times between 7 am and 7 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts.
