About the Opportunity
We are seeking a flexible and reliable Support Worker who can provide care, support and assistance to Members located in Eagleby, QLD. Once on the platform you will be a Five Good Friends partner and will begin receiving opportunities to start building your business. Visits range from 1 hour to 3 hours and may include the following services:
- Companionship - e.g., providing company through friendships, interests, and activities
- Driving and Community Access - e.g., driving to appointments, shops, outings if needed
- Personal Care - e.g., showering, dressing, medication assistance, manual handling
- Domestic Assistance - e.g., cleaning, cooking, laundry, shopping
What is needed to apply for this opportunity?
- Your own ABN as an Independent Contractor (or prepared to obtain one)
- A successful and current NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Check.
- Certificate III in Aged Care/Disabilities/Individual Support or higher (or studying) is preferred.
- Full training and assessment can be provided for personal care, manual handling, and basic medication support to suitable applicants.
- Driver's License and own vehicle
- Smartphone to use the Five Good Friends app, Lookout
