AGED OR DISABLED CARER 

Job Description: 

We are currently seeking empathetic and dedicated Aged or Disabled Carers to join our compassionate team in Jora. As an Aged or Disabled Carer, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and assistance to our clients, enabling them to live comfortably and safely in their own homes. Responsibilities: 

Provide personalized care and support to elderly OR DISABLED clients in accordance with their individual care plans. 

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing. 

Support clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. 

Administer medication as prescribed and assist with medication management as required. 

Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences. 

Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying up client's living spaces. 

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction and well-being. 

Document care provided and communicated any changes in clients' conditions to supervisory staff. 

Requirements: 

Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability Care, or Individual Support is highly desirable. 

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is advantageous. 

Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to improve the lives of elderly and disabled individuals. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and their families. 

Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team. 

Flexible availability to accommodate varying shifts, including weekends and evenings.
