Assistant in Nursing / PCA

The Role:

Patient Care Assistant involving:

• Assisting patients with showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, personal and oral hygiene
• Transferring and moving of patients using various hoists
• Transporting patients around facility
• Assisting patients with eating
• Ensuring patients needs are met in a timely manner
• Strict adherence to PPE, site safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting nurses where possible

Experience – Qualifications essential

• Cert III Aged Care or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months previous experience within the healthcare sector
• Own car and licence
• Current police clearance – valid within 12 months
• Must have influenza vaccine and covid vaccinations x3
• Mask fit training induction
• Hand hygiene certificate
• Manual handling
