We are pleased to invite applications for the position of Aircraft Fuel Operator to join our UH-60M Black Hawk team. About the roleAs an Aircraft Fuel Operator you will perform Helicopter Operational and non operational refuelling operations and tasking in both deployed and domestic areas of operations. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Conduct FQC sampling and testing procedures in accordance with relevant policies and proceduresConduct calibration and testing of refuelling equipment Conduct hot and cold refuelling operations on UH-60MComplete documentation related to refuelling aircraftApply precautions and required action to minimise, control or eliminate hazards that may exist when refuelling aircraftCarry out operator maintenance and perform technical inspections on military refuelling assets and Support and Test Equipment (ST&E)Conduct WH&S oversight. Observe health and safety precautions relevant to aviation fuels during the storage, testing and distribution About youYou will have previous experience within Defence in a similar position, with substantial knowledge and understanding of the following regulatory frameworks: AMO, CASA, EASA and/ or FAA You will also hold a Certificate III in Field Petroleum Operations To be successful in this role you will also have:Substantial experience in Hot and Cold refuelling of helicoptersSubstantial technical knowledge and experience on the aircraft project typeExperience in defence helicopter operationsHold the following Qualifications:Operator Bulk Fuel Tanker (B) Course (or civilian equivalent)213963 Fuels Manager DFI Operator (or civilian equivalent) 112631 Fuel Quality Control Centre Operator (or civilian equivalent) 112630 Fuel Quality Control (or civilian equivalent)212980 Hazardous Chemicals Awareness (or civilian equivalent)DG Pack Accept AllWorking at heights Confined Space entry Special requirementsApplicants are required to be Australian Citizens and hold a current or re-instatable NV1 Defence Security Clearance or be eligible to gain this.
