The Apprenticeship

Have you always had an interest in aviation and enjoy working with your hands, but unsure on how to get started? Then this is the opportunity for you! Not only will you have the chance to earn a Certificate III in Aircraft Surface Finishing, but you will also receive valuable on the job training while earning a salary!

Based in Marcoola, you will be joining a globally recognised aviation, engineering, and servicing organisation. A fantastic environment to learn all about Spray Painting! As part of your Apprenticeship, some of the tasks you will be doing include:

Preparation of the surfaces of aircraft and aircraft components and subsequent application of:

• Surface finishes
• Paint
• Specialist finishes and decals or stencils
• Aircraft registration markings
• National markings; and
• Organisational logos

What will you bring to the role?

• A genuine interest in the trade and industry
• You are a team player with great communication skills
• High attention to detail with good time management and organisational skills
• You are reliable and eager to work and learn
• You are safety conscious and understand the importance of following Workplace Health & Safety procedures
• Driver's Licence (Preferred)
• Be able to successfully gain an airport security clearance
