Lotterywest is the employing agency for Healthway, which is the only State Government agency dedicated to health promotion. For over 30 years Healthway has been providing grant funding to sport, arts and racing organisations, community activities, and to health promotion projects and research. Job Profile
Reporting to the Director Commercial Operations, the Market Intelligence Lead is responsible for research and Market Intelligence activities for Lotterywest including managing research consultancy services, leading relevant research relating to industry, marketing, grants, business development as well as community and economic impact research.
The role has the following key areas of focus:
- Market Intelligence
- Macro-environmental scanning
- Performance and Measurement
- Project Management
- Benchmarking
- Service Delivery
- Retail and Channel Planning
Mandatory / special role requirements
Police clearance.
Essential selection criteria
- Demonstrated-high level experience in market research including quantitative and qualitative research, competitor analysis and macro-environmental trends and emerging risks.
- Demonstrated high-level experience working with transactional, industry research and secondary data sources to make evidence-based business decisions and lead the development of business improvement strategies.
- Proven ability to draft detailed reports, compelling visual summaries, and stakeholder communications for various audiences.
- High-level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
- High level experience developing and managing relationships with internal and external customers, business partners and stakeholders.
- High-level communication skills including the ability to confidently present messages in a clear, concise and articulate manner and the ability to build trust and influence organisational leaders.
