About this role Aircraft Technician (AME) - Avionics Richmond, NSW – Relocation packages available! About the Opportunity We are currently seeking Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Engineersto join our Richmond based maintenance team inpermanent full timepositions. Airbus in Australia Pacific is the leading contractor for the RAAF fleet of 12 C130J Hercules transport aircraft. Our AME Avionics team members will support site deeper maintenance activities performing: On and off aircraft avionics inspections, Defect repair, Component maintenance, Fault investigation and repair, and System functional testing. About you As a key member of the Richmond Maintenance Team, you will work closely with a large and inclusive team of technical experts focused on success. To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to tight deadlines and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment. The knowledge, skills and experience best suited to this role would include: Cert IV in Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation Ability to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance License (MAML) High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and it's applicability in the relevant environment Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications High-level communication skills, both verbal and written High-level computer skills in Microsoft Office applications Applicants must be eligible for an Australian Government Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol…
