Department: Alcohol and other Drugs
Classification: Dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours per fortnight: 64
Status: Fixed term part time (12 months maternity leave coverage)
Applications are sought from suitably qualified health professionals to work in the Alcohol and Other Drugs Department at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provision of Assessment, Counselling and Case management to Alcohol and Other Drugs clients and their families
- Work with Voluntary and Forensic Clients
- Experience working in the AOD sector is essential
Our team requires someone who has:
- Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Social Work/Psychologist, or other health related field
- Mandatory core qualifications in Alcohol and Other Drugs
- Proven experience in Assessment, Case Management and Counselling. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in the AOD sector and be able to work with voluntary and forensic clients
- High-level awareness of therapuetic frameworks
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Alcohol and Other Drugs sector
- Strong (i.e. leadership) skills in Assessment, Counselling and Case Management (Delete this?)
- Be prepared to work within the Community and to provide outreach within the Shire of Campaspe
