Wolfcon is the one source for all things roadside maintenance and vegetation control. From roadside mowing, spraying, litter collection, to maintenance of rest-areas, traffic control and septic removal, Wolfcon ensures the highest quality for road users across NSW. Based in Goulburn, Wolfcon employs over 40 staff and manages significant contracts for TfNSW alongside work for regional councils, companies, and members of the general public.

The role offers room for growth in a leadership space, making ambition and good communication desirable traits as well. As Wolfcon’s contracts span across NSW the successful applicant must have a willingness to travel away semi-regularly for short periods completing works across the Southern region of the state. 

As an all-rounder you’ll find yourself:

• Working as a team member within small and medium crews to complete skilled works (slashing, spraying, litter picking, septic pump outs, mowing, tree works and traffic control operations),
• Operating equipment and leading teams in our skilled works (e.g. tractors, TMAs, Sucker trucks, Chippers, Spray vehicles, zero turn mowers etc.), 
• Cleaning and maintaining rest areas and depot facilities,
• Working independently to complete minor repairs and constructions on facilities, 
• Rural property works,
• Completing digital and paper daily work records and inspections, and
• Plant and vehicle maintenance at the depot and on site. 

Applicant Requirements:

• Possession of a White Card and Driver’s license. 
• Skill in operation of various machinery and equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and guide teams.
• Flexibility to travel and work away for regular short periods of time (typically between 2-5 days) 

Additional desired qualifications:

• MR/HR license 
• Traffic control qualification and experience 
• ChemCert 
• Chainsaw Ticket  
• First Aid
