Job Description
A little about the role
We have an opportunity for an experienced AHA to join our Occupational Therapy team which covers the Hume and Whittlesea LGAs. Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Assisting in the delivery of individualised, quality, treatment, screening and support programs with clients, carers and relevant stakeholders (home, outreach and/or centre based)
- Assisting clinicians in the preparation and running of groups
- Ensuring client file documentation supports the standards for documentation and the quality improvement requirements within the agency
- Maintaining regular, timely and accurate statistical input into relevant client databases
- Ordering, monitoring, delivery and set up of Equipment and Consumables
Example
Providing client-centred care with a high standard of clinical services and expertise to elderly, disability, ATSI and other eligible clients, your_ day to day responsibilities will include_

Desired Skills and Experience
About you
- You are suitably qualified (Cert IV in AHA or Higher)
- You have a minimum of 2 years experience in AHA work in Community Health or equivalent
- You have experience working with a variety of client groups that may include culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, aged persons and/or people with a disability
- You have experience in working with Occupational Therapy teams and clients
- You have excellent communication and computer skills
