- $57,842 - $62,221 p.a (pro rata) - Temporary Part Time (up to 28 February 2025) - AHA2
- $29,725 - $54,680 p.a (pro rata) - Temporary Part Time (up to 28 February 2025) - AHA1
Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either an AHA3, AHA2 or AHA1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
The Allied Health Assistant Role
The Allied Health Assistant will provide assistance and support to the Allied Health Professionals in the delivery of Allied Health services to patients/clients of the Eyre and Far North Region, under the supervision of an Allied Health professional.
The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) level 1 role is primarily a role defined to enable training in the AHA work with the view of progression to AHA level 2 upon successful completion of either Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance, or at the end of 6 months continuous employment, whichever is sooner and on the understanding that the incumbent is not subject to any performance management processes at that time.
To qualify as an AHA1 you must be eligible to undertake Allied Health Assistance Certificate Level 3 training.
To qualify as an AHA2 you must hold or be working towards Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance.
To qualify as an AHA3 you must have a Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent.

This is a part time vacancy, working 30 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
