About the Role:
Join our team as an Allied Health Assistant on a part time, ongoing basis to work at the Pakenham and Cranbourne sites.
The Community Rehabilitation Allied Health Assistant is responsible for working within the multidisciplinary team to provide best practice patient care. The role will involve:
- individual and group based work in both the centre and in the client's home
- working under the delegation of Allied Health Professionals
- being a vital part of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated Grade 2 or Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant to join us is in a permanent part-time capacity (0.4 EFT). This position may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites and may be centre based or home based.

The Monash Health Community Rehabilitation service actively engages with people to improve and maintain health, independence and well-being. We do this by coordinating and/or providing integrated, multidisciplinary care across multiple settings within the local community. Our aim is to help clients live their best lives by enabling them to access the support they need, when they need it.
Community Rehabilitation services may include therapy at home, at one of our centres and/or tele-rehabilitation consultations. We offer group and individual rehabilitation to adults in the community setting. The service is time-limited, goal-focussed and tailored to each person.

About You:
To ensure your success in this role you will bring the following demonstrated skills, epxerience and knowledge:
- A Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent
- A driver's license
- Preferably greater than 2-4 years AHA experience with some hospital/community experience (Grade 3)
- A positive approach
- Ability to work independently
- Dedicated to safe best practice and quality care
