Operating 7 days the service will provide rapid assessment and interventions to Townsville residents within their home environment.Generous remuneration package value up to $79,737 p.a.comprising:
- Salary rates between $2548.10 - $2678.70 p.f. (CA3)
- Annual leave loading + leave
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution

- While not mandatory, a Certificate IV – Allied Health Assistant would be well regarded. Evidence of any Certificates/Qualifications held to be provided prior to commencement of duty.
- This position requires the incumbent to operate a class C motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided prior to the commencement of duty.
- Clinical Ability:
- Under supervision, demonstrated ability to provide a defined range of patient interventions as delegated by the Allied Health Therapist.
- Ability to work under direction and within the limitations of a defined role in patient care.
- Ability to effectively use computers and general office equipment and to quickly acquire ability to use new information and data systems.
- Ability to learn and commitment to train in specific handling and technical skills and competencies relevant to the position.
- Team Participation/ Communication:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively as part of a team with a good understanding of own scope of practice in a complex and demanding work environment.
- Demonstrated skills in self-organisation and initiative to enable the timely completion of a variety of tasks allowing efficient service function.
