We're looking for a dynamic AHA (student to experienced) to be part of a growing multi-disciplined neuro-rehabilitation practice. We're offering a unique opportunity for the right candidate to join our team. The role includes a clinical development program, offering training, support and knowledge acquisition, with a special focus on neuro-rehabilitation and paediatric neurodevelopment.
Brain Hub is a neuro-rehabilitaion clinic with a strong reputation in helping many people with complex conditions, including concussion, dysautonomia, chronic pain, persistent dizziness and range of children behavioural and developmental conditions, including ADHD, ASD, genetic disorders, cerebral palsy and more. We have many patients travel from regional, interstate and international to seek our intensive rehabilitation programs.
Our focus with team members is about providing professional support, training and education, all within a rewarding environment with the advanced technology.
We’re about to open the doors to a dedicated children neurodevelopment centre (Brain Hub Kids), located next door to our adult rehabilitation centres. We’re currently a team of 3 Chiropractors (2 with post-graduate training in paediatric neurodevelopment), 2 Occupational Therapists, 2 Physiotherapist, 1 Exercise Physiologist and 1 Speech Pathologist, with the clinic director holding a PhD in vestibular rehabilitation.
Ideally, we’re seeking an applicant looking for a full-time role, although part-time could be suitable for the right applicant.
The successful applicant must be willing to:
- Contribute to improving health outcomes for a range of patients with challenging physical and neurological conditions
- Look beyond the traditional methods and practice of allied therapy clinics
- Work with patients on NDIS, including writing required reports
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
- Learn to use high-tech equipment for patient assessment and management
- Implement evidence-based protocols and patient outcomes measures
- Step out of their comfort zone to develop and be rewarded
- Work flexible hours
- Learn and share knowledge with colleagues in training and education programs
- To engage and contribute to social media and online content
You will need to be:
- Experience within an allied therapy clinic
- An Australian resident or have full working rights to work in Australia without sponsorship
- NDIS workers screening checked and Working With Children check cleared (or be eligible)
- available to work somedays from 8am and finish somedays at 7pm, including Saturday morning.
