Your New Role
- You will manage appointments, answer phone calls and triage both inpatient and outpatient referrals using a triage flowsheet
- You will maintain and process podiatry clinical instruments
- You actively purses ongoing learning opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge as an Allied Health Assistant
- You assist with managing and prioritising the workload for podiatrists within the unit to ensure smooth operations
- Assist in the Foot Procedure Unit, admitting and discharging patients
About You
- You hold an Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV or equivalent and have a minimum of three years’ experience (full time equivalent) as a Grade 2 (or equivalent).
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as administrative skills.
- You are adaptable and thrive in a dynamic multidisciplinary team environment.
- You have a passion for patient centred care and are able to follow instructions and guidance from podiatrists and Allied Health clinicians.
