About the RoleEastern Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated
Allied Health Assistant to join our
Allied Health team working with acute and GEM patients at the Angliss Hospital. This Grade 2
Allied Health Assistant role offers a wonderful opportunity to work closely with a dynamic
Occupational Therapy team and to be part of a multidisciplinary team, working with a diverse patient group. This
Allied Health Assistant will be involved in working with patients one on one and in groups, and will also have opportunities to be involved in
Allied Health Assistant student supervision and service development projects.
About youTo be successful in this role you should possess-
Essential:- Completion of the Certificate 4 (Allied Health Assistant) from a registered training organisation or undertaking an undergraduate degree in an Allied Health profession
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills to enable effective liaison with the multidisciplinary team and effective communication with patients
- Strengths in agility, time-management and prioritisation to meet demands
