SalarySt Mary's Aged Care Coolum Beach is looking for Allied Health Assistants to help with our strengthening and mobility program, approximately 25 to 30hrs per week.
The position includes the following duties:
Assist in providing supervision of prescribed activities with Residents both individually and in groups.
Assist with Resident transfers and mobility
Assist in organising of therapy equipment for exercise based sessions.
Suitable Attributes
Applicants need to be an excellent communicator with both Residents and other members of the care team.
Be enthusiastic and have an encouraging and caring disposition.
Show attention to detail in following and carrying out physiotherapy led direction.
Cert IV Allied Health Assistant is recommended for this role
12 months experience preferred, references essential..
