AddressBrisbane Centre for Psychology is an established psychology clinic with two prime locations based in the Stafford precinct. We offer an accessible and inviting space for clients who are seeking assessment and treatment for a range of psychological difficulties. Our qualified team of psychologists and counsellors provide warm and empathetic client-centred care for young children, adolescents, adults, couples and families which includes therapy as well as the provision of relevant psychological assessments to support our clients’ needs.
We are seeking an experienced receptionist to join our growing team. Your warm and understanding approach together with your savvy and efficient administrative flare will see you succeed in the role. Reporting to the Business Manager, you will be an integral part of our supportive admin team.
Key attributes of the role include:
- Friendly and efficient service based at the reception desk, performing duties such as greeting clients, answering phone, booking/rescheduling appointments, taking payments, processing Medicare claims, answering emails
- Administrative support for our wonderful team of psychologists and counsellors
- Coordinating billing on a daily, weekly and monthly basis in line with documented processes
- Handling new patient inquiries
- Administrative tasks to support the Business Manager
Skills and experience we are seeking:
- Previous experience working in a busy medical or Allied Health clinic
- Pleasant and calm manner (phone and in-person) when dealing with clients, as well as an understanding and care for our client population
- Practice Management software experience is essential
- An ability to problem solve
- Able to cope with a fast paced, dynamic environment, maintaining organisation of calendar and schedules and follow through on required tasks
- Able to work autonomously and collaborate with team member
- Proactive and motivated
- High attention to detail
- A positive and flexible attitude with the ability to cohesively fit in with our team
- Intermediate Microsoft suite
