Physiotherapist - Day Therapy Centre
- Permanent Part Time 0.6 FTE (45 hours fortnight) Monday, Tuesday and Friday

Eldercare is a leading not-for-profit aged care provider in South Australia, with 13 residential aged care homes and a Day Therapy Centre. The Day Therapy Centre is a multidisciplinary Allied Health Centre, serving the local community, largely, but not exclusively through the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and is located in Hendon. Our Day Therapy Centre offers tailored support, so our clients achieve optimal wellbeing and independence. Our team of highly qualified and dedicated therapists provide a range of individual and group Allied Health services to develop individualised treatment plans for our clients. This includes Hydrotherapy and Hand Therapy.
At Eldercare, we know that older people in our care want to remain as healthy and independent as possible. Eldercare has a thriving reablement program. Our Physiotherapists conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, develop creative treatment plans, offer one-on-one and group-based interventions, and contribute to aspirational client goals. At your disposal are individual treatment rooms, plus a beautifully appointed, open-plan gym.

To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, with current AHPRA registration
- Have a passion for healthy ageing and empowerment
- Previous experience in providing group and individual intervention programs
- The ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in the fields of musculoskeletal or community aged care would be beneficial.
- Be committed to ongoing learning and development of skill
- A Current accredited first aid certificate (Not essential but will need to be completed during induction)
- Demonstrate behaviours underpinning Eldercare's values of respect, accountability and connection.
- A valid driver's licence, roadworthy vehicle and mobile phone

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
As per Eldercare’s Employee Immunisation Policy, all Eldercare employees are required to:
