Key Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical occupational therapy services and leadership to an expanding Allied Health team.
  • Integrate clinical and peer supervision throughout the Allied Health workforce.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop rapport and expand services.
  • Establish processes for clinical supervision and staff development.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and engage in professional development.
  • Cultivate relationships with universities and external partners for career development.
  • Manage recruitment, induction, and performance of team members.
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations.
  • Manage employee retention and workforce planning.
  • Monitor compliance with organisational standards and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of ambition and success among team members.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in community aged care (HCP, TCP, CHSP).
  • Proficient in conducting community-specific assessments.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
  • Skilled in addressing individual, structural, and environmental risks.
  • Supervisory experience in Allied Health.
  • Senior level achievement record.
  • Delivering complex, evidence-based OT interventions.
  • Understanding of CDC/HCP, CHSP, TCP guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable about Aged Care Quality Standards.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Current SA Driver's Licence and a Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check and National Police Clearance.
