About the role
The Allied Health Team Leader EMAT:
- Is accountable to the Director Allied Health Operations, for effective leadership and management to ensure efficient and high-quality rehabilitation services are provided to patients within the ED and the acute inpatient setting across CALHN .
- Is responsible for the overall operation of Allied Health services within the team, including outcome assessments, quality assurance activities, service development and evaluation, recruitment and outcomes specified under funding arrangements and policies.
- Ensures clinical and client pathways that facilitate access, equity, quality, timely and respectful services in the most appropriate setting for clients of the service.
- Is responsible for the development and promotion of the EMAT, its involvement in teaching, research and education, and the development of a range of strategic alliances and networks.
- Provides leadership and management both within the team, and as member of the broader Allied Health leadership team CALHN .
- Is responsible for the organisational and professional management of the multidisciplinary team of staff in the EMAT and aligned services.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- For registered professions - An appropriate degree level qualification or equivalent which entitles general registration with the relevant Registration Board of Australia and Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
- For Self-regulated professions - An appropriate degree level qualification or equivalent which entitles which gives eligibility for full membership of the professional body
