Allied Health/Medical Receptionist - Permanent Full Time - Nundah Location

The Headache, Neck & Jaw Clinic is a premium physiotherapy practice with a focus on treating patients with specific conditions. We are searching for an additional outstanding Allied Health or Medical Receptionist to expand our team!

The successful candidate will share responsibility for the day to day management of our reception desk, as well as the completion of a variety of administration tasks. You will work in a supportive and friendly environment, with dedicated Physiotherapists and Administration Staff, who create quality service and a great team ethic.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• Previous experience in an allied health or medical front desk role
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Private Health Fund Claims through HICAPS
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to be flexible with working hours and locations (covering staff on leave)
• Ability to work as an enthusiastic team member, to use initiative and multitask
• Proven ability to work within a team and also to work independently
• Excellent telephone manner as well as strong interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and passionate about delivering a high level of customer service
• Be well presented as the face of the business
• Warm and friendly personality

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Maintaining clinic diaries (Cliniko software training provided)
• Welcoming patients and recording patient details
• Processing patient invoices, including DVA, Work Cover & CTP
• Maintaining stationery and clinic supply stocks
• Maintaining clinic and reception areas
• Performing other administration tasks as directed
• Telephone duties

We are specifically looking for the right person to join our team in a Full Time capacity at our Nundah location. You must be available to work Monday to Friday on a roster basis. 

Shift times will generally be: Monday to Thursday within the range of 6.45am to 6pm and Friday from 6.45am to 12.30pm.
