Spicer Rail Solutions is seeking applicants for the following full-time permanent role based in Tasmania (no FIFO), living away from home will be required on some projects:
- Aluminothermic Welder
Essential requirements
- WHS Construction Induction (White Card)
- Prior experience as a track worker on Rail construction and maintenance projects
- Experience in track aluminothermic welding & hot works procedures
- Current Thermit Welding certificate or equivalent
- Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure
- Drivers Licence with own transport
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment and Rail CAT 3 or CAT 1 Medical, including drug and alcohol testing

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Can do attitude
