About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacist with a commitment to antimicrobial stewardship (AMS), quality improvement, medication review and patient focused care, to join the team at the HPS Pharmacies Midland, WA.
This Permanent Full time role will require you to work 38 hours per week Mondays to Friday.
Key responsibilities
Clinically review and participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients with infectious diseases on restricted antimicrobials
Promote, develop and present medication safety principles, guidelines and projects
To represent the pharmacy department in various committees across the organisation as requested by the Director of Pharmacy
Clinical liaison with the relevant hospital wards and clinics
Be an active member of the pharmacy team in delivering high quality pharmacy services
Assist with business and process improvement.
- Dispense and supply medications in line with legal and professional requirements
About you:
- Clinical pharmacy experience
- Current AHPRA Pharmacy Registration
- Membership with a Professional Indemnity Insurance provider
- Advanced oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff
- A high level of attention to detail and precision in record keeping
- The ability to organise complex tasks and solve problems
- A patient-centric mindset, with strong interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
- A desire to learn and thrive in a rapidly evolving industry
- A vibrant personality and excellent Verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
- Current Covid-19 vaccinations as per Public Health Orders
- Current flu vaccination
