- Play a key role in the risk transformation of Insignia Financial

The Role
This role supports the implementation of the organisation’s enterprise-wide Risk Management Framework, within the organisation’s Risk Management business unit, and works closely with the Operational Risk managers to develop appropriate Risk Management Frameworks, guidance and reporting for the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the operationalisation, development and reporting requirements of the Operational Risk team in line with regulatory and business requirements.
- Support the data analytics for Incident, Issues and Controls management reporting and monitoring; including analysing and consolidating insights from business partners to provide up-to-date information on material risks and the Risk, Control and Resilience profile.
- Contribute to the preparation, presentation and review of Board and management Committee/Forum Papers with respect to Risk Management Policy & Strategies, Risk Appetite and Annual Report disclosures
- Assist the co-ordination and review of responses to regulator requests related to financial and non-financial risk
- Help drive and maintain a strong and resilient culture of risk and compliance across the business
- Provide subject matter expertise and communicate insight in format required by the stakeholder
- Build and maintain relationships with the business units and broader Risk Management team to drive risk and compliance agenda
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Undergraduate degree in Business/Commerce, Law or relevant subjects (mandatory)
- Proven expereince in risk and compliance management roles in complex financial services organisations
- Requires understanding of ASIC and APRA and relevant financial services laws and landscape in Australia.
- Ability to work effectively with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills combined with a high attention to detail.
- Experience working in complex businesses undergoing significant transformation and remediation
- Strong analytical skills: ability to quickly analyse a large collection of data and create reports and determine results
