Due to our rapid growth, George & Matilda Eyecare has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Analytics Lead to join our team based in Surry Hills. In this position you will play a crucial role in leading the Data, Analytics, and Insights at George & Matilda Eyecare.

This is a great role for someone who is keen to be instrumental in building a collaborative and unified approach to insights, analysis, and commercial strategies.
What you’ll be doing
- Engaging directly with internal stakeholders to understand their business problems and translate these to effective BI solutions.
- Understand stakeholder needs and identify analytical solutions to provide simple and easy access to information, whether through reports, dashboards, or self-service functionality.
- Assist in the definition and delivery of customer strategies
- Apply test and learn methodology to optimize marketing campaign performance
- Assisting in the exploration and interrogation of new sources of data.
- Present insights and recommendations from large data sets or campaign performances and translate these into business opportunities articulating the complexities and trade-offs involved.
- Take ownership of projects from concept to launch.
- Extracting, preparing, and querying large databases and analysing complex data sets to uncover business opportunities and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- The ability to perform data manipulation, cleansing and integration from various sources and the ensuing statistical analyses to generate impactful insights using advanced visualisations for decision making.
- Strong stakeholder management experience within a fast pace growth environment.
- The Ability to communicate complex messages simply
- A proficiency in SQL and Tableau.
- A Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Highly motived, self-driven, personality.
- Able to use initiative to identify and resolve issues
