  • Motivated, organised and reliable, and willing/able to cover extra shifts at short notice.
  • Available to work during public holidays and school holiday periods.

Please note: Candidates must be over 25 years of age (requirement for insurance purposes) and have unrestricted work rights in Australia in order to apply for this role.

The Benefits

  • Full training and support in a friendly team culture.
  • Ongoing training and learning opportunities.
  • Nation-wide career development opportunities for your journey in the growing Petcare Industry.
  • Free Parking.
  • Employee Assistance Program including Wellbeing Calendar.
  • Employee Appreciation Events.
  • Employee discounts on a range of Hanrob products and services as well as computers, electronics, health insurance, travel packages, and much more…

IMPORTANT: This is an active and physical role requiring you to drive a large van and be able to lift and secure animals into enclosures and cages for safe transporting. In addition to driving, the incumbent will be required to work indoors and outdoors (sometimes in inclement weather conditions), and in close proximity to cats and dogs, on their feet for a significant portion of their day. They must be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, kneel, squat, reach, stretch, and restrain animals up to 50kg on leads, communicate, speak, and interact with team members, customers, airport and Department of Agriculture staff, internal and external stakeholders, and members of the public in person and over the phone, in order to perform the inherent requirements of the role.
