The Role:
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join the team at Northern Health as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) at the North West Community Care Units (NWCCU) and North West Prevention and Recovery Centre (NWPARC) North West Prevention and Recovery Centre.
This role requires the ANUM to provide clinical leadership and positive role modelling to the multidisciplinary team under the guidance of the Program Manager and Team Leader.
They will provide direction and delegation on a shift by shift basis to ensure effective daily operations of the program and best outcomes for consumers within a recovery framework of care.
In addition, the ANUM may be allocated shifts and duties at NWPARC to support an integrated model of care.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Have completed Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing and have minimum 3 years' experience working as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- Experience and good working knowledge of Recovery Orientated Care and relevant Mental Health legislation and frameworks.
- Proven ability in clinical leadership roles and working within a multidisciplinary team in Mental Health Services.
