An exciting opportunity to join an integral regulatory state government body who aid in a critical support advisory role. This advisory body prides itself on supporting the Queensland community through sustainable and economic outcomes. They are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer who values this on a full-time temporary contract, based in Townsville, QLD.
Your new role
As the first point of contact for customers, you will:
- Provide an efficient and accurate service for enquiries via face-to-face, phone and email.
- Be responsible for front desk duties including liaising customer information to the team whilst providing a friendly and authentic experience for both parties.
- When faced with possible down-time, you will take initiative by providing additional support in achieving and exceeding team objectives.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong and friendly Customer Service experience.
- Microsoft Office experience with the ability to pick up industry-specific software quickly.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong communication skills via phone, email and face-to-face.
- Experience at TechOne and Sales Force is desirable.
- Previous experience within construction space is desirable.

If you are successful in this role, you will gain a fantastic opportunity to work for a QLD Advisory body, on a full-time temporary contract Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm until the 6th of August 2024. You will join a friendly office environment, receiving an attractive AO3 pay rate + Super, with the possibility for an end of pay scale if warranted.
