We have partnered with a leading State Government Department. They require an HR Advisor to commence as soon as possible to work through to May 2024 on a part-time basis.
Your new role
Reporting into the Manager – People & Culture, duties will include:
- Processing all new appointments, movements and separations for all employees
- Providing HR advice to managers and employees on entitlements and policies, systems and processes
- HR reporting and projects
- Developing and maintaining procedure manuals and work instructions on operational processes
- Supporting the HR team in undertaking HR projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will ideally possess the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
- A strong understanding of HR legislation and framework within the Queensland government sector is desirable
- Previous experience in a HR Advisory capacity
- Proficiency using HRIS system and MS Excel to an intermediate level and above
