Government agency looking for a Property Manager to assist with property assets for an office portfolio.
Your new company
Our client is a government agency based in Brisbane that provides a number of products and services to assist in the building and maintenance of government owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. Due to an increase in workload, they are looking to add a Property Manager to their team to help with their commercial property portfolio.
Your new role
You will be responsible for providing asset management advice to internal and external stakeholders regarding an extensive office portfolio on behalf of the department. You will also provide project management guidance to identify and deliver minor works projects, while providing professional input into developing and implementing identified projects. Additionally, you will manage the property portfolio including property inspections, revenue, and development to ensure return investments are maximised.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in commercial property management with a large and diverse property portfolio. You will also have an understanding of property asset management, property maintenance, minor works, and property budgets and costs. Given this role includes keeping property data and assessments, you will have previous experience in information technology systems and MS Office programs.

You will be offered an immediate start in an initial 6-month contracted casual role within a government agency with the likelihood of extension, located in Brisbane CBD. You will be offered a full-time temporary position paying $62.67 per hour + super.
