Retaincon, the Gold Coast's premier  rock wall, sleeper wall  &Excavation  company, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of all our construction projects, from initial planning to successful completion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our work sites, fostering positive relationships with both clients and employees. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Project Management: Overseeing project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Subcontractor Management: Hiring, engaging, and managing subcontractors effectively.
• Safety First: Implementing and upholding strict safety protocols to minimize accident risks.
• Financial Acumen: Maintaining cost control by understanding job costings and implementing cost-management strategies.
• Leadership & Motivation: Leading and motivating your team to achieve high-quality results.
• Technical Expertise: Possessing a deep understanding of earthworks, retaining walls, and construction principles.
• Safety Standards: Applying and maintaining all health and safety regulations on site.
• Communication & Collaboration: Liaising effectively with civil engineers, on-site managers, and clients.
• Software Proficiency: Utilizing Microsoft Office suite efficiently.
• Organization & Time Management: Exhibiting exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving issues efficiently and proactively.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring all projects meet client expectations and industry standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site operations management.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
• Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and empower a team.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in the construction industry.
• Experience in earthworks and retaining wall construction is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, 
• Strong emphasis on safety, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Enthusiastic, focused, reliable, and a team player.
