Six Degrees is excited to be exclusively partnering with a State Government client in the recruitment of a fantastic AO5 SeniorsGrants Management Officer role to join their team. As the Senior Grants Management Officer, you will be responsible for developing the organisation’s grant program, delivering new grant rounds, managing acquittals from previous rounds, processing payments and providing key reports to senior management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the team leader to deliver and manage a suite of funding programs including full program development, delivery and coordinating funding rounds in conjunction with the grant program business unit.Facilitate the development of tailored SmartyGrants Reporting, working closely with Program Managers and other key stakeholders to deliver grant reporting and templates for each grant round.
- Facilitate the development of SmartyGrants form building, from application through to acquittal ensuring that all reporting is consistent across all programs.
- Undertake the day-to-day grant management tasks associated with business units and client requests, including administration, compliance and reporting, using the SmartyGrants database. Ensure that applicant and contract information is accurate and up to date to assist in the management of funding agreement activities and funding commitments.
- Manage the client grant acquittal process, including vendor management, reviewing and reconciling supplier invoices and receipts, spreadsheet the documentation for audit and management approval, contact clients for additional information, provide approvals to clients, and process payments.
- Provide analysis, advice, and high-quality customer service for internal Government stakeholders and reporting for internal and external program delivery as it relates to the departments operations, including monthly, quarterly and end of financial year reporting, and audit reporting.
- Experience in SmartyGrants report building, template, form creation and administration is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge to manage multiple grants programs, including the ability to apply financial terms, payments, and acquittal processes in a complex environment.
- Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously, with high level reporting, analysis and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build and produce and analyse reports to inform effective decision making.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of resilience while operating in a high-pressured environment.
- High level of time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity and implement change in a client facing environment.
