Key accountabilities include:
- As part of a team, lead grant program development and management in accordance with the Queensland Treasury's Financial Accountability Handbook, Queensland Procurement Policy, HWQld policies and procedures and any other relevant policies and procedures. Undertake end-to-end grant management processes, including development of guidelines, grants administration in SmartyGrants, eligibility and screening processes, selection panel support, performance management and liaison with applicants and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate all grants to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, including management of non-compliance and implementing corrective and preventative action plans as required.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders in the coordination, implementation, acquittal and close-out of grant initiatives.
- Work with the HWQld Finance team to ensure appropriate controls in place for the release of funds to grant recipients and to automate workflows and approval processes for making payment.
- Undertake contract development and contract negotiations activities, provide support to key stakeholders in relation to contract management.
- Participate in multiple ad-hoc projects using project management methodology in a complex work environment.
- Prepare timely and accurate briefings, reports (including those from SmartyGrants), submissions and other executive correspondence on a range of program-related issues.
- Actively assist in the design, implementation and management of quality management systems and controls for procedures, systems and documentation to enhance the operation of the organisation.
