About the business unit
The Corporate Services Division is responsible for leading the financial services, corporate governance and risks across its international organisation to ensure TIQ is enabled to achieve its objectives aligned to the strategic and business plans. Corporate Governance plays a critical role in providing support through implementing robust corporate governance controls, managing risks and compliance across the international network, in the areas of procurement and contract management, governance, compliance, risk management, integrity and internal audit.
Your contribution (key responsibilities and accountabilities)
To be successful in this role you will:
- Assist the Team Leader to develop, deliver and manage a suite of grant funding programs that align to TIQ's export initiatives, by coordinating, monitoring and reporting on grant funding rounds.
- Develop a range of tailored SmartyGrants forms, reports and templates in collaboration with program managers and other key stakeholders, to ensure all documents and templates are aligned to each individual grant funded program.
- Undertake the day-to-day grant management tasks associated with internal business units and client requests, including administration, compliance and reporting, using the SmartyGrants database.
- Ensure that applicant and contract information is accurate and up to date to assist in the management of funding agreement activities and funding commitments (including EFTSure vendor creation, inputting payment information).
- Facilitate training workshops with key stakeholders in relation to the Grants Management program, training manuals, policies and procedures.
- Undertake research and provide high level advice / customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding available grant programs, funding, financials, applications and delivery.
- Coordinate, facilitate and participate in Assessment Panel Moderation discussions for a high volume of grant funded proposals, to ensure eligibility and adherence to TIQ's grant management program guidelines and undertake due diligence reviews on grant applicants.
- Facilitate and coordinate the contract management process through SmartyGrants for the identified successful applications.
- Manage the client grant acquittal process, including vendor management, reviewing and reconciling supplier invoices and receipts, delegated approvals and process payments via the AAP Converga system.
- Prepare and analyse grant program reports with collated date to provide initial evaluation of program outcomes, including risk assessment, opportunities, and progress against grant priorities.
- Prepare a range of high level reports, estimates briefs and ministerial correspondence regarding program funding and delivery.
- Maintain knowledge and an understanding of the Queensland Treasury grants administration framework and related administration processes.
