Level One Business & Financial Advisers was founded in 2004 and is an independently owned firm of Chartered Accountants and Certified Financial Planners providing advice and compliance services to a diverse client base. With a team of approximately 15 professionals we cover taxation, business services, self managed super and financial planning in a professional and personalised approach where looking after the client and creating long term valued relationships is the number one priority.
Qualifications & experience
- Significant experience in SMSF required and a high level of professionalism
- Sound technical knowledge a must have
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A strong focus on client service
- CA or CPA qualified
- A minimum of 5 - 10 years pure SMSF experience
- BGL 360 software experience highly desireable
- Strong collaborative approach to your work and a real team player
- A strong work ethic
Tasks & responsibilities
You will be responsible for the day to day processing of the SMSF function within the practice, including but not limited to:
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns and supporting compliance documentation
- Preparation of comprehensive workpapers and audit documentation
- Liaising with auditors
- Work collaboratively with the tax and financial planning teams to deliver the best outcome and service to our clients
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide a professional and valued experience
- Manage and mentor support staff
