The opportunity:
The Applications Administrator is responsible for the daily administration of the Oracle e-Business Suite and for optimising applications in order to improve efficiencies. This is a pivotal role where you will be required to liaise with key stakeholders to understand the business requirements and plan future architecture integrating the Oracle e-Business suite across a variety of systems. Your duties will include configuring, testing and deploying applications, identifying and understanding problems, and deploying suitable solutions, preparing technical documents, operating back-up, recovery and disaster recovery procedures and providing high-level technical support and expertise to the team.
Selection Criteria:
To be successful you will need to be tertiary qualified in Information Technology and have demonstrated experience in managing, administering and supporting Oracle e-Business Suite applications and technology. Additionally, you will need to have solid knowledge and experience in Linux and Unix operating systems (Solaris desirable), Unix shell scripting and Oracle SQL, PL. Your ability to build relationships together with your strong project management skills will see you secure this excellent career advancing opportunity.
