We are looking for an Application Consultant (Patient Billing) to join our team. Candidates based in Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney will be considered.
This role will see you working directly with our clients as well as with our consulting and development teams. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, bringing new challenges daily. The right person for this role will have a well rounded set of technical skills delivered in a customer focused approach.
Our Application Consultants are experts in our PowerBilling and Revenue Collection (PBRC) product who work alongside of our clients to design, configure, implement and support the PBRC application. Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Facilitating implementation workshops with clients where system design around business workflow is key;
- Undertaking system configuration;
- Support clients throughout Systems Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing;
- Facilitating product training and providing go-live support;
- Troubleshooting configuration and product issues to resolution or escalation when required;
- Designing and documenting solutions delivered as professional services;
What we’re looking for from you;
- An ability to work in a team environment;
- An ability to work to deadlines and to provide ongoing communication, both internally and to our clients, on the status of support issues;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client focus;
- Knowledge of programming concepts, exposure to databases and data storage;
- Completed, or working towards completion of, a relevant degree and or diploma (e.g. Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Health Informatics).
The following attributes, whilst not essential, would be highly regarded:
- Technical skills and experience working with SQL, JavaScript and MS SQL / Oracle databases
- Experience relating to Public Hospital Billing, Medicare and Health Fund claiming requirements.
- Proven knowledge and experience relating to Billing and Accounts Receivable processes and systems.
