Our Federal Government Client is currently looking for an Application Developer to join their team on a long term engagement.
Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain NV1 security clearance will be considered for this role.
This is your chance to make a difference for our Federal Government client in this 12 month contract with 2x 12 monthextensions offered.
The Application Developer must have good experience in JavaScript technologies.
The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
- Developing, improving and maintaining complex applications using:
- js for the frontend user interface (UI);
- Springboot (Java) for the backend interface to Open Search and Teradata;
- Azure Pipeline for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CICD);
- Building reusable components including backend (Springboot) and frontend (React.js) libraries;
- Writing a unit test that performs quality assurance checks against code;
- Producing UI that complies with the department and industry standards;
- Reviewing solution designs for project or sustainment deliverables, and providing feedback that ensures
the design meets Department standards;
- Supporting the deployment of application build packages across the test and Production environments;
- Providing technical advice to a range of stakeholders and team-members on project delivery, and
managing the infrastructure that underpins the applications;
- Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, service providers and
team members
- Developing positive team ethos within the immediate workgroup through positive participation and
communication;
Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department's recordkeeping policy and practices.
The Specified Personnel will also be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited
to:
- Technical Specifications;
- Technical design and matrix;
- Architectural documents;
- System Design Specifications;
- Work flows, events and sequence diagrams;
- Environment Context Definitions;
- Deployment plans.
