The Information Development Division is responsible for enabling clinical staff to deliver timely, quality care to our patients and carers through innovative use of information technologies, and through strategic management of information and data across the organisation.
Position Summary
Alfred Health, is seeking an experienced, organised and pro-active IT Application Development and Support Specialist to join the EMR (electronic medical record) team. An exciting and varied position that will help support the Clinical System, exposing the Specialist to wide and varied role. Responsibilities to include:
- Learning about and developing skills in management of software tools used for configuring the CIS
- Interacting with end users in trouble shooting and issue resolution
- Building and deploying simple to complex solutions for use in the CIS
- Developing basic skills in script writing and deployment
- Working with a wide range of specialists in CIS management
- Liaising with the training team and users for the implementation of functions.
- Liaising with the support team for the ongoing support of functions.
- Experience with the Cerner Millennium Clinical Information System (CIS) and associated tools - preferred
- Excellent aptitude for problem-solving and good analytical skills, self-driven and quick-learning - essential
