D365 - Development Support Specialist

Overview:

We're looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 CE Support and Development Specialist to join one of our clients in the not-for-profit sector. This role is accountable for supporting and helping to implement and extend multiple Dynamics 365 and Power Platform-based systems. The role will also play an important part in other technology projects using Microsoft technologies (including Azure, Office 365, SharePoint online, and the Power Platform tools) as well as participating in the day-to-day support needs of the internal business systems team.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Support:

• Provide frontline support for Dynamics 365 CE applications, resolving issues promptly and ensuring smooth operation.
• Collaborate with users to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions to enhance user experience.
• Support the migration of application data to Microsoft Dynamics CRM with accuracy and to agreed timeframes.
• Maintain adequate change requests for IT changes with our systems and liaise with 3rd party vendors as required.

Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain customisations and extensions for Dynamics 365 CE applications using key technologies.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Developing and supporting interfaces/integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems and supporting the broader IT team and business in extending and maximising the use of Microsoft technologies

Integration and Data Management:

• Integrate Dynamics 365 CE with other systems and manage data migration processes for seamless data flow.
• Conduct effective unit testing and integration testing to ensure the highest quality products
• Participate in timely resolution of support requests for various systems

Documentation and Training:

• Create and update technical documentation, aiding in system understanding and user training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience across D365 (CE, Sales, Marketing, Funding & Engagement, Finance), Power Platform, and Power Portal/Pages.
• Proficiency in Azure Integration Services & Connector experience in a hybrid cloud/on-premise scenario.
• Strong skills in CI/CD pipelines, JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
• Expertise in supporting/engaging with business users in the rollout of systems and functions.
• Experience working in internal business systems support and low-code development/configuration.
• Expertise working on incidents, changes/enhancements, and support project implementation.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
