Job specific role description:
The Branch, requires a suitably skilled and experienced resource to fill the role of Application Service Delivery and Support.
The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the Delivery and deployment of software updates from vendors, including the management and troubleshooting of issues that are identified during deployment and test activities.
Responsibilities of the role will include, but not be limited to:
Application Service Delivery:
• identify and co-ordinate resources needed for budgeting, estimating, planning, development and delivery of new or changed services.
• managing the design, installation, upgrading, maintenance and effective use of specific technology services.

• monitor the performance of applications and technology services, providing appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users.
• report on progress against timeframes and deliverables as well as forecast issues you may encounter.
• developing and implementing continual service improvement plans to ensure the technology services adequately support changing needs.
• engage with and influence stakeholders to ensure that services are developed and managed to meet agreed service levels, security requirements and other quality standards.
• assist with the planning and implementation of processes and procedures, tools and techniques for monitoring and managing the performance of technology services.
• monitor performance of delivery teams and take corrective action where necessary and in line with policies.
• ensures that appropriate action is taken to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems and services.
• monitor the performance of applications and technology services, providing appropriate status and other reports to managers and senior users.
