About the role
The Application Services Specialist is part of a high-performance team that supports Councils’ enterprise business applications and major business functions, with a focus on Council's Property and Ratings system, to enable the organisation to deliver essential services for the community. In this role you will provide excellent customer service, build and foster essential relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and provide technical support services for critical business applications.
This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management or Engineering or demonstrated contemporary experience in a similar role
- Experience developing and executing business system implementation plans and strategies
- Demonstrated vendor management experience to ensure the delivery of system management and support issues.
Other important information
- Salary for this position ranges between $85k to $103k plus 11.5% superannuation. A market loading of up to $10k has also been applied to this position.
- This is a permanent full-time role and is located at our Wyong Administration Building.
- This role will be able to access a 9 day fortnight.
Council will be creating an eligibility list from this recruitment process and may utilise this eligibility list to fill other permanent or temporary vacancies.
