About You

Otis is growing, and we are looking for a Service Solution Specialist to cover Northwest NSW (North Sydney to Western suburbs).

The main goal of the role is to achieve sales growth through developing a customer prospect pipeline focusing on winning new maintenance contracts, with additional responsibility for selling incremental repair projects.

  • Report to the Service Support Manager
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of elevator units by maintaining good working relationships with existing customers.
  • Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries.
  • Develop new customers via cold calling, networking, bids, and tenders
  • Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets
  • Use Otis’ sales tools to track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results effectively
  • Conduct sales negotiations and close deals
  • Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues.
What you will need to be successful
  • Have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience working within a large, matrixed company environment and proven sales track record for developing and selling large deals.
  • Sales experience within the Lift or Engineering industry will be preferred.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Initial experience in the sale of technical service agreements
  • Have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Have a high level of commitment and reliability.
  • Target-focused, able to work at pace in a demanding, complex corporate organization.
