About this role
As an Application Specialist - People Systems in our Digital team, you will be the primary support specialist for the Workday platform and HR related systems. This role is integral to the Digital team and will work closely with People and Culture team members and the wider Digital team. This role will be critical to the implementation of Workday and associated systems and integrations.
Key responsibilities

• Workday Platform Management: Act as the primary support specialist for the Workday platform, ensuring smooth operation and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• HR Systems Support: Provide support for HR related systems, working closely with the People and Culture team to understand their needs and implement solutions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider Digital team to integrate Workday and HR systems with other digital initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Continually improve systems and processes, leveraging the capabilities of the Workday platform to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Training and Support: In collaboration with our IT Training team, you will be involved in training end-users on how to use the Workday platform and HR systems effectively and provide ongoing support.

Skills & experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to work independently.
