I am currently assisting a Government Authority based in Logan to recruit an IT Business Solutions Team Leader on a 6 month temporary contract. This role is responsible for the supervision of 9 multi-disciplined and specialist officers and reports into the Enterprise IT Solutions Program Leader. Ideally you will have experience with TechnologyOne ERP or strong experience working with other ERP systems and functionalities.
About the role:
To guide, mentor and lead the Business Solutions team to deliver consistent and high quality system support (L2, L3), new initiative development and delivery. Own and maintain expertise in a number of key Council Tier 1 and 2 systems and platforms. Promote effective use of Council systems in line with Enterprise Architecture and IT policies and procedures to meet workforce needs and enhance employee effectiveness.
Act as a role model and ensure your team’s commitment to our branch values and ensure reports perform to a high customer, technical and ethical standard. Manage staff, provide coordination of workloads, motivation, coaching, development and monitoring of team skill levels and the assessment of team member performance.
Application Support:
Oversee ongoing support for relevant corporate applications. This includes ensuring effective Tier 2 and Tier 3 level Application Support is maintained, system currency is managed, and ongoing development and deployment of new capability is managed efficiently.
(the main applications managed by your team will be TechOne ERP, MS Sharepoint, MS Teams) Sound experience will be required for this role.
About You:
- Demonstrated significant experience and expertise in a Team Leader role within a 1,000+ seat Enterprise with a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service outcomes. An accreditation in ITIL at Foundation or higher Level.
- Strong understanding of corporate system support delivery (Tier 2 and Tier 3) through team capability and effective vendor relationships.
- Experience in process consulting, application management, new initiative/small project delivery and deployment, technical and organisational change management, vendor management, ITIL dimensions and management practices, especially incident, problem, knowledge, change, service request, release, service design and service level management.
