Who will you be working with? Reporting to the Program Management Director.

Where is the position located? This is full time position at our office in Eagle Farm, Brisbane. Some travel from time to time may be required to interstate or Customer offices.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Perform day-to-day Support Team management including T1 Help Desk and T2 support services for Customer legacy and Wabtec’s Train Control System as it is rolled-out across network segments into production
  • Investigate and resolve issues raised to the team and triage and resolve using the ITIL framework; apply SLA based escalation business rules as required
  • Build strong relationships with various business and technical team lead stakeholders
  • Coordinate required change and release management tasks for the team, including prioritisation, development, testing, business engagement, and governance
  • Implement and operate mature monitoring capabilities across the integrated environment landscape
  • Conduct service transition activities to successfully transition project developed functionality into BAU operations and support
  • Develop support operational processes and procedures
  • Undertake and enforce support governance activities and controls
  • Produce regular support activity reporting aligned with Operational Support Contract obligations

Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing an ICT support team, delivering support for complex transportation applications/systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in transitioning newly deployed Train Control Systems or similar into production as part of a multi-year roll-out program
  • Demonstrated experience managing the Software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile methodology to set and monitor software sprint cycles addressing documented, prioritized system defect fixes
  • Demonstrated experience managing both business and technical stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • Experience with Salesforce and Rally platforms
