Database Administrator And Application Support Manager

Our client is a leading personal finance company based in Brisbane.  The business is seeking to appoint a Database Administrator and Application Support Manager who has at least 7 years’ demonstrated experience in a similar role. The position is mainly responsible for maintaining user profiles, financial information, data alignment and general master data maintenance, security policies and procedures. The position also ensures the optimisation of software operating systems across all platforms - customer facing and employee focused. 

This successful applicant will need to show demonstrated abilities in the following areas:

• Support, configure and administer data master files and key corporate applications and services including Transactional data / Data centre server management.
• Administer and manage Google Suite & Apps (Ad-Hoc) 
• App data – Transactional data management 
• Qlik report building and scripting of data using SQL and Google scripts 
• Liaise with 3rd party providers for support of third-party databases and Applications
• General internal Head Office support – networking, server management and IT needs
• Providing technical input/advice relating to IT solutions requiring database integration
• Establish and maintain channels of communication to enable the rapid exploration of IT resolution issues
• Maintain and create processes to manage the integrity and quality of client data, data clean up and security systems
• Database backup management

Technical skills:

1. Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience post qualification
2. SQL server database administration
3. Experience commercially with the maintenance of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
4. Demonstrated experience in working with an ERP system
5. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
6. Cloud data management
7. ICT Security management
8. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude

About the Role:

Permanent, Full-Time

$70K+ negotiable (depending on experience and qualifications)
