We're working with a local council that is looking for looking for an Application Systems Specialist. This is a newly created role where you will have the opportunity to play a key role in analysing, designing, and deploying configuration changes within their core applications, specifically focused on Infor Pathway.Working as part of the Technology digitisation team you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services, collaborating with end-users and software vendors, writing test plans, conducting user training, managing documentation, system monitoring, and participating in software development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting services for software applications.
- Collaborating with end-users and software vendors to identify and resolve issues.
- Deploying configuration changes across development, test, and production environments.
- Assisting with writing test plans and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Developing and conducting end-user training.
- Maintaining documentation for software applications.
- Monitoring system performance and addressing performance issues.
- Participating in software development projects.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with platforms like Infor Pathway, TechnologyOne, HP Content Manager, Frontier and iChris.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven experience in customer-oriented support and service function.
- Clear communication and collaboration skills.
- Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
